Where is my clipboard data stored?
On your devices first. If you enable sync, clips live in the private CloudKit database tied to your Apple ID. ClipTrove’s entitlement service never receives clipboard contents—only the licensing data needed to unlock paid features.
What’s included in Free?
Free keeps your 50 newest clips on each device, with search, rich previews, and local encrypted storage. Older clips are erased as new ones arrive.
How does Mac ↔ iPhone sync work?
Sync uses your private iCloud (CloudKit) account. Copy on one device and the clip appears on your other signed-in Apple devices—without routing history through our servers.
Does ClipTrove capture passwords?
You can enable sensitive-data protection and source-app rules so content from password managers and detected secrets stays out of history.
How do subscriptions work?
