Privacy Policy

ClipTrove is designed so your clipboard history remains under your control. This policy explains what the app stores, what our services receive, and the choices available to you.
Clipboard content
Clipboard content is stored locally on your devices. If you enable iCloud sync, that content is stored in the private CloudKit database associated with your Apple ID. Lead Magic Corporation does not operate servers that receive, store, or inspect the contents of your clipboard. Sync traffic stays between your devices and Apple’s CloudKit private database for your account.
Entitlement and licensing service
Our entitlement service handles licensing only. It receives the minimum account, device, plan, and activation information needed to validate access to paid features and prevent subscription abuse. It does not receive clipboard payloads, pinboard contents, or search history.
Account and authentication
When you create an account, our authentication provider processes identifiers such as your email address, phone number, authentication status, and organization membership. That information is used for sign-in, account recovery, and linking purchases—not for advertising.
Device information
For activation and fraud prevention, the entitlement service may process a pseudonymous installation identifier, platform, device class, hardware model, operating-system version, app version, locale, time zone, and bundle identifier. We do not use this information for advertising or sell it to third parties.
Payments
Purchases made through Apple are processed by Apple under Apple’s privacy policy. Direct purchases, where offered, are processed by our payment provider. We do not store complete payment-card details.
Diagnostics
We may receive limited operational logs needed to keep account and entitlement services reliable and secure. Clipboard content is not intentionally included in those logs. The app does not use third-party advertising trackers.
Retention and deletion
You can delete clips and clear local history from the app. Data synced with CloudKit is managed through your Apple account and devices. You may request deletion of ClipTrove account and entitlement-service records by contacting us at support@cliptrove.app.
Security
ClipTrove uses platform security controls, encrypted local storage, private CloudKit databases, signed entitlement requests, and restricted service access. No system can guarantee absolute security, but we minimize the data our service needs by design.
Children
ClipTrove is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes
We may update this policy as the product changes. We will update the effective date above when we do.
